  1. I have not been vaccinated, nor will I be . I have had cold sores most of my life but since retiring and being out of stressful environments, I haven’t had one in five years. I am around vaccinated people at a pickleball group and last week got my first cold sore in five years. The next day I got a second and the day after, a third. I have never had three at one time let alone in a three day span before. When I saw this post I had to take notice. I assumed that it might be from a year of stress from the Covid lockdown but maybe it’s other transmitting something to me.

  2. My friend: try taking 1 olive leaf extract (Oleuropein) and a couple of drops of oil of oregano (under the tongue) daily for about 1 month. Your cold sores will most likely become a thing of the past. If you do have herpes zoster (shingles) in your system, these “vitamin suppliments” will likely wipe it out (which means it will come to the surface of your skin, cause a non-painful rash). I still take these suppliments on occasion, just to make sure the core sores stay away! I don’t believe I will ever get shingles! Good luck and keep pickleballing!
